Interests
I teach required courses in U.S. history and world history. I also teach an elective in gender studies. In addition, I am working with Mr. Sykes on an interdisciplinary course about New Orleans. My academic interests include gender, politics, the family, and popular culture, both in the present and in the past. I am interested in the ways that historians cross disciplinary lines to use anthropology, sociology, geography, and the arts as ways of understanding the past.
