Interests
My personal and professional interests revolve primarily around writing -- my own and that of my students. In the writing-intensive courses I most love to teach (English 200 and my senior electives in creative nonfiction), I’m constantly humbled and inspired by the talent of Andover writers. I’m the author of a novel, TWO HARBORS, and I’m currently working on a collection of shorter pieces, mostly stories and poetry. Other favorite pastimes and interests: trauma literature, softball, reading my backlog of NEW YORKERS, and (especially) exploring campus with my two young children, Owen and Ella.
