Office of Communication

The Office of Communication seeks to advance and protect the reputation and legacy of Phillips Academy. Guided by the objectives of the Academy’s Strategic Plan, we develop key messages and tell the stories of PA through an integrated program that includes print and digital publications, social channels, and media relations. Our team manages more than 200 annual projects print and digital publications, including Andover, the magazine of Phillips Academy, News from Andover (alumni/parent enewsletter), and the Gazette (employee enewsletter). We oversee all website content and the Academy’s official presence in social media, while experimenting with emerging communication technologies. We generate press releases and handle media relations, including press inquiries.

  • Edit the Andover Gazette weekly campus newsletter
  • Schedule and coordinate annual publication updates
  • Edit and proofread most Academy publications

Adam Roberts

  • Write and edit print and online materials for departments within the Office of Academy Resources (OAR), including the Andover Fund, alumni and parent communications, gift planning, major gifts, and Andover magazine
  • Traffic communications-based OAR projects from concept to delivery
  • Audit and update content of Giving and Alumni sections of the website
  • Manage alumni Facebook and LinkedIn pages

Ken Puleo

  • Manage the design, layout and production of Andover, the magazine of Phillips Academy
  • Develop design concepts for newsletters, brochures, booklets, posters, postcards, programs, fact sheets, and invitations
  • Design and produce a variety of collateral for the Andover Fund and other fund-raising and development initiatives
